The Role
We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic English teacher to join our friendly team. Prior experience teaching Senior College is advantageous but not mandatory. Your dedication and expertise will be key in helping students excel in the challenging field of English.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility, collaborative spirit, and a commitment to fostering strong relationships within the school community to ensure the best outcomes for all students. They should also bring professional expertise to deliver an English Curriculum that's both engaging and tailored to student needs and interests, emphasising critical content through a fine-grained program. Experience in extending students through our Academic Extension program is a plus.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across Year 7 to 12, according to college needs, and bring their expertise to the English Learning Area. They will apply their experience in Senior School English to help our students achieve their Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).
The successful applicant will work and teach in a team environment and should be committed to whole college approaches and initiatives and have a strong evidence-based approach to teaching. Adopting inclusive practices, and building positive relationships with students, staff and the community are important components of the role.
