We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Successful applicants will ideally be highly motivated, dedicated, innovative Early Childhood and Primary Teachers with high levels of interpersonal acumen. You should be able to work collaboratively in team environments and have an openness and capacity for learning. Your ability to reflect and improve on your practice as an educator is what we will expect from all staff.
Our Business Plan in 2024-2026 drives our direction based on data driven practices, evidence- based approaches and impact focused teaching based on the Quality Teaching Strategy. Teachers at Melville PS use ongoing formative assessment to provide feedback to students, measure student progress, differentiate teaching and plan next steps in learning. Experience and knowledge of current educational research as it applies to the Science of Learning including daily review and engagement norms would be advantageous.
