We are seeking to establish a pool of K - 6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Beaconsfield Primary School (PS) is a unique Independent Public School, comprising of a mainstream component, Intensive English Centre and Rottnest Island Campus. The Role
Suitable applicants should be highly skilled and motivated educators who are prepared to align and commit to the ethos of continuous improvement across all areas of the school. We are looking for dedicated teachers who are child focused and have high expectations of student achievement and collective teacher efficacy. The ability to collaborate is highly desirable, as is the capacity to form professional and positive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community. Therefore, suitable applicants will ideally have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Suitable applicants should be committed to Beaconsfield PS whole school approaches and have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian curriculum. Teachers who can display exemplary practice in Literacy and Numeracy are strongly encouraged to apply. High quality explicit teaching practices are the foundation of our approach, and suitable applicants should have the ability to provide engaging experiences for their students through similar practice. The ability to develop high quality learning programs that effectively differentiate learning to support and extend students’ needs is highly regarded, as is the ability to provide timely and effective student feedback. We are looking for teachers who are self-reflective and continually monitor the impact of teaching and learning in the classroom through the ongoing, rigorous analysis of student data.
