The Role
John Forrest SC has a 12 month fixed term contract for Level 2 School Officer to provide support in our Student Wellbeing Hub with the implementation and evaluation of our new Attendance Policy and Procedures.
The successful applicant will ideally be experienced in a student services setting and have a confident phone manner, a friendly and positive attitude and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and communities.
You should be responsible for providing accurate advice and support to parents, students and staff. Within the parameters provided by the school administration team you will maintain school databases, records and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date whilst ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive material. A good working knowledge of Student Information System (SIS) and/or SEQTA/Compass as well as attention to detail, accurate data entry and the ability to extract and interpret attendance reports will be highly regarded.

- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
