This is a 3 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2024 with possible extension.
Kalbarri District High School (DHS) is seeking to appoint an energetic and motivated individual to fill the role of Primary Teacher and join their friendly team.
Kalbarri DHS is located in the coastal town of Kalbarri, 600 km north of Perth. Kalbarri is surrounded by National Park which gives us a unique opportunity to utilise our natural environment in our curriculum. Kalbarri DHS nurtures children in Kindergarten through to young adults in Year 12.
Kalbarri DHS has a stable, experienced, high quality staff, who provide a safe and caring class environment for children whilst presenting a comprehensive and challenging curriculum. The Role
The successful applicant will ideally show the professional knowledge, practices, and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school Humanities curriculum. As part of this role, you will engage and build productive working relationships with students and be involved collaboratively with your colleagues to improve student results.
You will ideally be a reflective practitioner who actively engages in activities to improve your professional practice. The successful applicant for this position will be student and relationship focused, innovative and motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
