We are seeking to establish a pool of K-6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
We are ideally seeking experienced, highly skilled educators committed to maximising their impact on student learning, who actively engage in self-reflection. You should have high standards, high expectations and truly believe that all children can learn and be successful and pursue excellence in your teaching. You should value developing relationships with children, families and colleagues and the wider community, and have a positive, caring attitude and the ability to anticipate and adapt to change, show initiative and problem solve to produce the best opportunities for the children in your care. It is highly desired that applicants are willing to engage in collaboration, peer observation and to commit to our phases of learning communities.
Suitable applicants should be team players and fully commit to whole school approaches and activities even if they do not match your preferred approach. We value quality learning programs and engage in analysis of student data to determine priorities and areas for focus. You should continually monitor the impact of your teaching on student learning and willingly try new, innovative ways to engage and motivate students. The suitable applicants would ideally be proactive and prepared to put in the hard work needed to make a difference. Experience with being involved in extra-curricular activities to enhance learning opportunities for students is highly desirable. We are also seeking teachers with experience in teaching physical education, art and Italian.
Experience in EALD, the Quality Teaching Strategy, Talk 4 Writing, Brightpath, Soundwaves, STEM including a problem solving, hands-on approach to mathematics, Oxford Maths, Classroom Management Strategies, Instructional Strategies for Engagement, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), ICT and Digital Technologies would be an advantage.
