The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled, energetic, and enthusiastic leader who will ideally continue to build on the current successes of the Specialist Netball Program. It is ideal that the Specialist Netball TIC will have their Intermediate coaching accreditation, be working towards their Advanced coaching accreditation, and have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or be willing to obtain it). The successful applicant will ideally have high standards of organization, professionalism, and will ideally embrace opportunities for collaboration and partnerships within the school and the wider netball community.
The suitable applicant will ideally be responsible for working closely with the Netball Specialist Team and the Health and Physical Education (HPE) Department to drive improvement strategies in both netball and HPE. They should actively participate in and lead ongoing professional learning opportunities, reflecting on their own leadership practices to build staff capacity and enhance student engagement, to sustain a culture of high-quality teaching. They will ideally work in collaboration with the Head of Learning Area and the HPE team to lead strategies and identified initiatives in HPE that continue to drive a culture of excellence in teaching and learning across Years 7 to 12.
