Cooloongup Primary School is currently looking for an inspiring and innovative Upper Primary Teacher to join our friendly and welcoming team.

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Upper Primary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating engaging lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the academic and personal growth of students. Knowledge around Talk 4 Writing, Spelling Mastery and using Daily Reviews for High Impact teaching would be well suited. We are seeking applicants who develop a positive classroom culture which includes high expectations, inclusion and individualised support. Successful applicant should possess flexibility and adaptability, as well as the ability to implement differentiated instruction and explicit teaching techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans in line with the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student achievement.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices.
- Understand and utilise data to track progress of students and make required interventions to maximise their learning.
