South Bunbury Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
We are looking for highly skilled, dedicated and enthusiastic teachers who are child-focused and committed to going the extra mile to ensure every child achieves their potential.
Suitable applicants will have a comprehensive knowledge of the WA Curriculum and a commitment to collaboratively implementing whole school programs with fidelity, ensuring low variance across classrooms. Experience with effective implementation of PLD Literacy, Origo: Stepping Stones and Bond Blocks is desirable. Applicants should have the capacity to utilise data, such as Brightpath Writing and Numeracy, and the inclination to use this data to reflect on the effectiveness of their teaching practice on student achievement.
The demonstrated ability to differentiate whole class teaching to meet the learning needs and preferences of the range of students is highly desirable. As is the ability to utilise technology to enhance learning experiences and provide students creative agency in the communication of their learning.
Suitable applicants will ideally be organised and have skills in creating a safe, inclusive and orderly learning environment that is also focused on supporting students’ emotional well-being. They will have excellent behaviour management skills aligned with the principles and practises of PBS and applied knowledge of “Trauma Informed Practice”.
