We are seeking to establish a pool of Digital Technology Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The Role
The School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE) is seeking to appoint one or more experienced, vibrant, innovative, and culturally responsive Digital Technology teachers to join our expanding team.
SIDE delivers lower school Digital Technology as well as General and ATAR Computer Science and Information Technology. The ability to cover a broader range of subjects where the need arises would be highly desirable.
For this role, we are seeking teachers with excellent pedagogy and classroom practice and a desire to contribute to improving outcomes for students in regional and remote Western Australia. You will ideally have strong communication skills, combined with a desire to learn or build on your capacity to deliver online lessons.
You should have ability to work as a dynamic team member. The evolving nature of the program requires cohesion and collaboration with team members and flexibility in teaching approaches to ensure ongoing program growth and success for students.
