The Role
The successful applicant will lead curriculum innovation across Kindergarten to Year 6 and will ideally possess a strong ability to distribute curriculum leadership amongst teams of staff. They will support teachers to embed a shared and consistent pedagogy aligned to Explicit Direct Instruction and Teach for Impact. It is preferred the applicant has knowledge and experience in:
- Positive Behaviour Support, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Support of Students at Educational Risk (SAER) including Case Management and Special Education Needs (SEN)
- Trauma Informed Practice
- Leading whole school approaches
- Coaching, mentoring and leading staff in whole school approaches
The successful applicant will have an absolute commitment to the care and development of each and every child and will ideally possess the personal attributes for Leadership. This position may also include a small teaching component.
