We currently have two (2) permanent full-time positions available, commencing Term 4, 2024.
Are you driven by a commitment to make a meaningful impact on students' lives and eager to work in a school that champions evidence-based, best practice approaches?
Morley Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to appoint two (2) innovative and experienced Student Support Teachers. In these roles, you will collaborate closely with the School Leadership Team and the broader multidisciplinary Student Support Team to deliver comprehensive, wraparound support for students with diverse educational needs.
Morley SHS's vision is to celebrate diversity and cater for the needs of all students, with the goal of everyone achieving their personal best. We strive to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high expectations in a supportive, engaging, and vibrant learning environment. We recognise and honour our cultural and ethnic diversity and promote understanding through our academic and extra-curricular endeavours. We value and promote personal and social responsibility, as well as student leadership through a variety of programs and partnerships.
Students in Years 7 to 10 have access to engaging programs, including Department of Education approved specialist programs in Aviation and School of Screen and Media (Multimedia and Broadcasting). The Performance Plus program incorporates students-led learning opportunities and encourages students to become critical thinkers. Students develop problem-solving skills to address real-life issues in a cross-curricular setting.
Our six core values are continuously highlighted to students to assist them in believing and working toward achieving their potential and to become active Australian citizens.
