The Role
Are you prepared to inspire and elevate the learning experience for gifted students in the South Metropolitan region?
At South Metro PEAC, our moral purpose is to ‘Elevate Thinking and Ignite Wonder for Every Child’. This dynamic role invites you to apply your creativity and teaching expertise to cultivate deep learning for gifted students.

As a PEAC Teacher, you will design enriching experiences, leveraging student agency, structured inquiry, and transdisciplinary learning. Your role will involve collaborating with a small team to plan, teach, and assess students, applying differentiation for diverse learners. Building strong relationships and maintaining open communication with colleagues, parents, and mainstream teachers or schools will be integral to fostering a positive learning environment.
As a valued member of the PEAC Team, you'll collaborate with the Coordinator to provide professional learning and development to educators and school leaders across the region.
With PEAC spanning across various sites in the South Metropolitan, your flexibility to travel will be considered. Sites currently include:
- Rockingham SHS
- Comet Bay College
- John Tonkin College
- Yarralinka PS
- East Hamilton Hill PS
- Woodlupine PS
- Curtin PS
- Bull Creek PS
- Atwell College
Attendance at Curtin Primary School for staff meetings or collaboration is required, so you will need to have availability and willingness to travel to this central site.
