The Role
East Kimberley College is seeking a suitably qualified, passionate, and committed English Teacher to join our team. At East Kimberley College we strive for excellence by nurturing individual abilities, providing meaningful opportunities and fostering positive, respectful relationships.
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work across Years 7 – Year 12 and bring their expertise to the Learning Area, applying their knowledge of the English Western Australian Curriculum to help our students achieve outstanding results. Experience teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) English is desirable.
To be suitable for this role, you will be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment, as well as demonstrating an engaging and energetic teaching style. You will ideally promote an environment of active and positive learning, and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable all students to achieve their highest potential. With effective interpersonal skills, you should work closely with your colleagues to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
