The Role
The successful applicant can be responsible for maintaining the school’s information and communication technologies (ICT) network and systems and developing and maintaining an asset replacement program. They should also provide advice and training on technical issues associated with ICT, provide input on system enhancements in line with the Department of Education (DoE) requirements and policies and liaise with DoE ICT department when required.
As the successful applicant, you should have the ability to problem solve and provide innovative solutions for diverse scenarios. Ideally you will be well organised and experienced in reviewing and improving ICT infrastructure and resources. This is not just a help desk role – we are seeking a proactive individual who would improve and maintain our systems and network. You should be able to articulate school ICT needs to the finance and other committees and set plans in place for these to be realised.
