The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be a motivated teacher who is passionate about shaping students’ futures. They should possess excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and a repertoire of teaching strategies to engage students, ideally having knowledge of and experience in, a range of instructional strategies and tactics. Strong knowledge and skills in the delivery of Year 11 and 12 ATAR Physics is highly desirable. As a reflective practitioner, the successful applicant will ideally possess effective data literacy knowledge and skills; and a capacity to modify their practice to meet identified student needs. The capacity to engage in the development and implementation of innovative classroom practices, including integration of information technology into the curriculum, will be highly regarded. In addition, the successful applicant will work as part of a dedicated team to develop, review and deliver the science curriculum to ATAR level. They will engage in 21st Century learning practices and share these practices with their colleagues.
The successful applicant will ideally provide excellence in creating and maintaining a supportive and safe learning environment. They should provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential. They should recognise students as individuals and foster opportunities for all students to develop into effective young adults.

The College has newly installed a state of the art Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) facility. The capacity to engage in the development and implementation of innovative classroom practices relating to the STEM facility will be high regarded.
