Joseph Banks Secondary College is an Independent Public School in the suburb of Banksia Grove, approximately 40 kilometres from the Perth Central Business District. The Role
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with the Manager Corporate Services, and staff to strategically design, plan, implement, oversee, and manage the school’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) network and other relevant infrastructure. This encompasses being an integral part of the team in set development of the Western Australian Space Science Education Centre, including the Mission to Mars Experience as well as Cybersecurity programs and state of the art Information Technology labs. In this role you would advise the Manager Corporate Services and administer risk management and contingency planning for data security, system backup and disaster recovery systems and administer the school’s network, software licensing requirements and copyright obligations.
The Manager Technology and Communications provides advice on technical issues associated with network administration and liaises with internal and external providers on ICT matters. They will manage ICT services staff, the ICT services cost centre, including budgeting, purchasing and reporting and ICT assets and resources, including hardware refresh cycles and disposals, software subscriptions and service level agreements.
