Kondinin is a proud town located in the Wheatbelt, approximately 3 hours' drive east of Perth, with a population of around 300. The community enjoys fantastic facilities, including a newly built swimming pool, sports club and community garden that are next to the school. Kondinin serves as a hub for hospital services, engineering for the agricultural sector, aged care and is the base for Western Power workers for the district. The town is very family friendly with many outdoor play areas for children, and a proactive Community Resource Centre, who often puts on events and after school workshops for kids.

The Role
We are seeking applicants who are committed to ongoing professional growth and development, support current whole school processes and are collegial, effective collaborators. The successful applicant will be a motivated, skilled and pro-active educator who holds themselves accountable for improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day. You should possess a strong capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs for a multi-age class, using an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and evidenced-based approaches. Suitable applicants will utilise high-impact teaching strategies, including differentiated instruction and explicit teaching.
The ability to use a variety of assessment tools to inform progress, enable constructive feedback and drive future planning at a classroom level will be highly regarded.
