We are looking for an Associate Principal to work closely with the Principal, Management and Executive Team to lead our school and community in Building Independent Futures. The successful applicant will join the existing leadership team and should have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should be highly motivated, energetic, hardworking, and resilient. Additionally, you should be proactive in supporting the needs of staff, and students with challenging and complex needs.
The successful applicant will be joining the Fogarty EDvance Cohort 11 Leadership team and be instrumental in guiding and leading the school community through the development and refinement of whole school processes and practices. There will be a strong focus on collaborative consultation with the school community to create a positive school culture and a proactive approach throughout the implementation of the strategic plan. Experience in implementing sustainable whole school processes whilst utilising effective change management practices is desirable.
You will play a key role in the developing the teaching and learning pedagogical practices, ensuring success of our school’s strategies and targets outlined in our business plan. A deep understanding of the needs of students with a diverse range of disabilities is essential to fulfilling this role successfully. Possessing knowledge or experiences in a range of operational aspects of an education support centre such as: timetabling, Disability Resource System (DRS), SEN Reporting, attendance monitoring, and trauma informed practices is advantageous.
