The Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate Principal with exceptional leadership skills, who is an integral member of the executive leadership team. You will work collaboratively with the principal, the executive team and the senior leadership team to drive a culture of continuous school improvement, providing educational leadership in the school and the community by promoting the school’s strategic directions.
The successful applicant will have a deep belief that every student can achieve success and be able to provide educational leadership that ensures students are engaged and become successful learners. With the commitment and desire to create and sustain a student-centred learning environment, you will display excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with students, parents and staff, and the ability to develop and maintain positive and effective partnerships with external agencies, and members of the community.
The successful applicant will ideally be able to demonstrate that they can operate effectively within a focussed and distributive leadership team environment and have the flexibility to take on areas under any of the Associate Principals portfolios. You will be an exceptional leader who has proven experience in leading strategic development using your highly developed interpersonal, organisational and change management skills with respectful communication skills in both verbal and written form.
The Associate Principal is expected to have a high level of understanding of school and departmental operations, reporting systems, system data bases and be able to demonstrate effective communication to ensure deadlines are met. The role requires a highly organised individual who can coordinate and communicate whole school activities such as Parent Night, School Development Days and after-hours staff meetings.
