This is a 24 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, 2024 with possible extension.
Nannup District High School (DHS) is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Deputy Principal to join their team.

The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be highly organised and versatile, with practical leadership experience in actioning whole-school directions. Experience in leading teaching and learning in a diverse Kindergarten to Year 10 setting and a passion for working with children and staff will be highly desirable. Focus areas for 2024 are: empowering excellence in teaching and learning, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, and achieving a connected school community.
As such, key roles for the successful applicant will include but are not limited to: leading curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 10, with specific focus on K-6; promoting high impact, instructional teaching and reflective practice to support effective learning of our students; providing strong student services support across the school, some knowledge of supporting students with complex needs is desirable; creating and maintaining links with the wider community; and providing leadership to teachers who have students with disabilities or difficulties.
In collaboration with the Principal and highly dedicated teaching staff, the Deputy Principal provides educational leadership in the school and the community by developing and promoting the school vision and facilitating workforce effectiveness. You will work as part of a dedicated team and have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community.
