About the division
The Racing, Gaming and Liquor (RGL) team has undergone significant transformation, and we are looking for dynamic leaders to drive change. RGL regulates and maintains the integrity of all lawful racing, gambling, and liquor activities in the state by providing guidance for industry to maintain compliance with relevant legislation for the benefit of all Western Australians.
About the roles
Are you a motivated and highly skilled professional? Do you thrive in a dynamic regulatory environment? Look no further! We’re seeking exceptional individuals to join our compliance teams within the Racing, Gaming, and Liquor division.
We are seeking three dynamic leaders to join our Casino Compliance, Wagering and Community Gaming Compliance and Liquor Control and Compliance teams. You will be responsible for the operational oversight of a team of inspectors and the management of the compliance and enforcement programs. The Compliance Managers also conduct complex reviews, oversee the management of intelligence, and ensure the quality and effectiveness of compliance processes.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to engage in either the casino, wagering and community gaming or liquor regulation space, including engagement with industry stakeholders.
The Compliance Managers deliver supervision and management of inspectors in their compliance functions as well as providing support to the General Manager in resourcing and planning. In this role you will bring a high level of communication and negotiation skills.
What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in a regulatory and compliance field delivering outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage resources including human, physical, financial, technical and information, to meet organisational objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines, and research law applicable to the delivery of compliance audit and inspections, and enforcement.

We have three permanent, full time (75hrs p/f) position available. This role is full time but the Department may consider a jobshare arrangement

This role is based at 140 William Street Perth.
