Westminster Education Support Centre (ESC) is seeking to establish a pool of Education Support Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise from Term 4, 2024 and up to the end of Term 3, 2025. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time during this date range.

The Role
We are ideally seeking high-quality teachers who are enthusiastic and dedicated to teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairment, and challenging behaviours. Ideally, applicants should possess an in-depth understanding of evidence-based practice and specialist education support pedagogy. We are seeking applicants in primary aged classes.
It would be highly desirable for the suitable applicants to possess a skill set that includes knowledge of Alternative Augmentative Communication, differentiated teaching and learning, individual visual supports systems, Positive Behaviour Support, including functional behaviour assessment, self-regulation strategies, Digital Technologies, who have an understanding of Systematic Sequential Phonics and Talk for Writing.
