The Role
Wellstead Primary School is seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organised individual to fill the position of Manager Corporate Services.
The Manager Corporate Services is responsible for implementing sound consistent management and budgeting practices and systems. The successful applicant will ideally have well established financial management capabilities and possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. You should also review current school financial practices, implement improvements, and have experience in using the Schools Resourcing System. You will ideally be flexible and reliable and able to work independently with autonomy. Proven experience in a Primary School setting would be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will work with the Administration on delivering improved outcomes. As a member of the leadership team, the Manager Corporate Services shares the responsibility for inspiring and leading support staff in their commitment to the core values of the school and will provide strategic advice on financial and physical resourcing processes.
The Manager Corporate Services is intrinsically involved in the implementation of the school's Strategic Plan and the implementation of changes necessary for the progression of our priorities. The successful applicant should also have a broad understanding of relevant legislation, reporting and governance requirements relating to the role, and effectively display the ability to lead a team of school support staff.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
