We are seeking to establish a pool of K-6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Eglinton South West Primary School (Planning Name) will open its doors to the community of Eglinton at the commencement of 2025. We have a vision to create an inclusive school where every child can succeed. We are seeking to establish a pool of committed, resilient and highly motivated teaching staff, who prioritise strong relationships with the whole school community. Relationships driven, staff at Eglinton South West will work together to engage all children, families and stakeholders in developing a culturally responsive, inclusive school.
The school is projected to open with approximately 250 Kindergarten to Year 6 students, and will encompass an Endorsed Education Support Program, growing to 650 students in coming years. Educators at Eglinton South West will have an inclusive mindset and embrace the one school model where all educators have high expectations for all children in a highly inclusive environment.
The school is located 48 kilometres North of Perth in the growing suburb of Eglinton, close to the ocean, surrounded by rapidly developing housing estates with many young families. The school will have state-of-the-art facilities with a purpose-built Early Childhood, two double story teaching blocks, a dedicated Education Support facility, library, and undercover area. Specialist teaching areas for Music/Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Science/STEM will also be included.

Educators at Eglinton South West should demonstrate the capacity to use data and research to inform teaching and learning programs and embed differentiated practice to support all students. The successful educators will ideally build a blended pedagogy of explicit teaching and play, and inquiry learning throughout the school and use ongoing formative assessment to give feedback to students and adjust the learning programs accordingly.
