The Role
Rockingham SHS is seeking a dedicated Health Safety and Wellbeing Officer to their team.
The role of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Officer is to provide school staff advice on occupational health and safety (OHS) issues. You will undertake investigations of workplace incidents and accidents and be required to contribute to the welfare of students, staff and volunteers by providing first aid as needed and within your level of training, experience, the Department’s provisions on first aid in the workplace and the relevant OHS Legislation. In addition, it is highly important to ensure records are completed and maintained for all injuries, illnesses incidents and accidents.

- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels and in emergency situations.
- Well-developed computer application skills, including a working knowledge of word processing and development and maintenance of databases and spreadsheets.
