We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Kelmscott PS is seeking a capable, friendly, and enthusiastic School Officer to join their team. The suitable applicant will be part of a busy school office team and should be capable of working collaboratively or independently with minimal supervision. Additionally, you should be able to adapt to different tasks and remain calm under pressure. A positive approach to the role and eagerness to learn new skills and contribute to the efficient running of the school office is ideal.
As a School Officer, you should display excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with the administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff. Suitable applicants will be required to undertake a wide range of effective administration and customer focused support services including greeting visitors, answering the telephone, maintaining school databases, record management and general word processing tasks. You will ideally be experienced in reception duties and have a confident phone manner a friendly and positive attitude, strong attention to detail and organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and work well within a team environment.
Suitable applicants will be responsible for supporting the Manager Corporate Services in administering the schools marketing, financial, physical and human resources whilst upholding confidentiality and security of sensitive material. Experience in using Schools Information System (SIS) Administration, Resource Manager (RM) Billing, RM Finance, Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) and Microsoft Office suite of programs is desirable.
