The Role
The role of the AIEO is to assist teachers with the delivery of planned education programs and encouraging a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The successful applicant will act as a liaison between the community and the school to develop education programs relevant to education and cultural needs and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, particularly those at risk, through mentoring and pastoral care to encourage participation and achievement. The AIEO will also support teachers to implement the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework.
