The Role
Mount Lockyer PS is seeking teachers who ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills, enabling them to work within a collaborative team environment and engage in whole school planning. Suitable applicants should be committed to their ongoing professional growth and development, display support for current whole-school processes and participation in whole school collaborative planning.
Become an integral part of a dynamic team of teachers, who are known for the dedication and commitment to the students in their care, through delivering engaging and meaningful learning experiences. A thorough understanding of the West Australian (WA) Curriculum to inform their planning, teaching and assessment is important to the role.
We are looking for teachers to deliver a broad and challenging curriculum facilitating exploration and development of individual talents. We work together, adopting an inclusive whole school approach where all are accountable and responsible for the growth and development of every child.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.
