North Mandurah Primary School (PS) are seeking to establish a pool of highly motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic primary classroom teachers to join our team for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The Role
Applicants with knowledge and understanding of the effective use of explicit teaching strategies, or a willingness to learn are highly desirable. As a teacher at our school, you should contribute to a positive team culture and enjoy the challenge of working at a school seeking to raise standards and improve student outcomes. Familiarity with some of our current whole-school practices such as Prime, UFLI and Spelling Mastery would be beneficial, and knowledge and previous application of the Science of Learning will be highly regarded. Our school is engaging with Teach Well Professional Learning to enhance our high-impact explicit instruction in English and Maths and our classroom practice reflects this. Teachers who have completed Teach Well professional learning are encouraged to apply.
At North Mandurah PS, our students are at the forefront of everything we do. Our goal is to provide students with the best possible education, while fostering a sense of community and belonging. With dedicated teachers, innovative programs, and a commitment to student success, we are confident that our students will achieve their full potential.
