Appointment Pool
Churchlands Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to establish a pool of Administrative Support Coordinator for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2025 Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 2, 2025.
The Administrative Support Coordinator will work closely with the Principal and provideadvice and support to the Executive Team in human resource school operations. In collaboration with the Manager Corporate Services and Deputy Principal, suitable applicants would have the opportunity to coordinate end-to-end recruitment, selection, and appointment processes, and marketing and coordinating events.
Experience working with MAZE is highly desirable as well as experience in using SEQTA Engage and Adobe creative programs. You would regularly use Easy Mail Merge, manage outlook diaries and prepare minutes for meetings as a part of this role. A background in human resources management including using Recruitment Administration Management System (RAMS), Teacher Registration Board Western Australia (TRBWA), TRIM website, Human Resources Management System (HRMIS) and timetabling, would be highly advantageous. Experience in publication and marketing, producing catalogues, PR materials and organisation of large scale community and school events would be well regarded, however is not essential.
In addition to excellent organisational, interpersonal skills, you will ideally be able to work in a team environment. Candidates with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks and work well under pressure are encouraged to apply.

- Demonstrated ability to provide effective support and input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business operations and administrative activities.
- Initiative and good organisational skills, including the ability to work with minimum supervision to meet deadlines.
- Well developed computer skills including a working knowledge of word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
- Data management skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Well developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels.

Eligibility and training requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter;
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement;
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
