Appointment Pool
The Public School Accountability Directorate is seeking to establish a pool of Directors (Public School Review) for appointments to fixed term, full- time vacancies (up to a maximum of five (5) years in duration). This pool is for appointments commencing in 2025, and for vacancies that may arise during 2025 and 2026. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time during 2025 and 2026 and will be made based on business needs and individual position requirements.
While the position is based in East Perth, applicants residing in other Western Australian locations will be considered.

With all Western Australian public schools reviewed by the Public School Accountability Directorate, Public School Reviews provide assurances to school communities and the Department that schools are performing as expected.
About The Role
Public School Review acknowledges the achievements of schools and provides feedback to support the principal and staff with their improvement planning. Directors, Public School Review understand quality school self-assessment practices and they apply their knowledge of the Standard - Public School Review, to validate the evidence informed decisions and plans for ongoing improvement.
As a key part of our Department’s senior leadership team, Directors, Public School Review draw on their expertise in public education to lead, manage and conduct a schedule of school reviews, with a principal peer reviewer.
To be successful in this role, you will lead with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. You will be confident in building effective relationships as you be required to work collaboratively with staff across with Department, including Principals, Corporate Executive, Directors of Education, and Statewide Services.
As a Director, Public School Review, while providing you with diverse work experience and opportunities, you will be required to travel state-wide across all public school education settings.
