ICT Solutions Development and Maintenance is seeking to appoint a highly dedicated individual to the role of Team Leader Systems (Corporate).

As the Team Leader Systems (Corporate) you will manage the development, support and maintenance of the Department’s Corporate Systems and strategically guide the evolution of products to align with organisational goals and objectives. Within this role you will prepare business cases, manage the budget and cost information, and enforce best practices to deliver services on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
This position will require the successful applicant to engage with key stakeholders, lead staff and work closely with third-party service providers to facilitate planning, analysis, design, development and implementation of corporate systems projects, including application enhancements, administration, system security, integrity and change management arrangements.

- Demonstrated high-level project management skills and experience in development, support and maintenance of integrated Corporate Systems in a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated highly developed leadership, planning and change management skills, with the ability to coordinate and deliver strategic outcomes.
- Demonstrated highly developed written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships and networks and to undertake high level productive consultations, collaborations and negotiations on complex issues.
- Demonstrated highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills and experience in applying strategic innovative solutions to complex problems and issues.
- Demonstrated substantial knowledge and understanding of Solutions Development Life Cycle and maintenance principles and practices.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter.
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
