This is a six (6) month fixed term, full-time position with possible extension and/or permanency commencing ASAP
Project Support is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and organised Senior Consultant.

As the Senior Consultant, you will assist in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects, programs and initiatives to meet current and emerging needs. You will also support the design and provision of effective operational processes and support across the division.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake research, collect, analyse and interpret data and other contextual information related to Statewide Services initiatives and policies. You will support and work flexibly as required across a range of initiatives. You will draft and contribute to briefing notes and use Department systems to support branch activies. The role requires flexibility, responsiveness, careful planning, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You will also actively contribute to the branch, Directorate and Statewide Services.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance before commencing employment
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
- complete
- the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- training specific to this role required by Department policy; and
- the Department’s training in Accountability and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
