Shark Bay School is seeking a lower Primary Teacher committed to excellence in teaching and student care.

About the role

The successful applicant would cover most subject areas other than Sports, and Languages Other Than English, so strong teaching skills across the curriculum are highly regarded. Explicit teaching and strong differentiation are expected in Literacy and Numeracy, along with a hands-on inquiry approach to Science, and Humanities and Social Sciences. Previous experience with InitiaLit and Teachwell professional learning would be highly regarded. Education Assistants provide support with Tier 2 programs such as MiniLit.

The successful applicant should be motivated and committed to creating an engaging, inclusive, and challenging learning environment; based on high accountability and expectations to ensure all students achieve their maximum potential.   • Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.

The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
