Harvey Senior High School (SHS) are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year.

We seek staff who are confident in teaching across Years 7 to Year 12 and have a sound understanding of the West Australian (WA) Design and Technology Curriculum and Senior School D&T courses. The successful applicant will be able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. The successful applicant will engage in reflective practice, have a strong evidence-based teaching philosophy and be committed to whole-school pedagogical approaches.   • complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
  • complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.

The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
