Hannans Primary School (PS) is seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher to join their high quality regional school.

Our school has a diverse student population of over 300 from 21 nationalities including 7% of Aboriginal students. Located in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, Kalgoorlie Boulder is situated 590 kilometres inland of Perth. The name Kalgoorlie is derived from the Wangai word Karlkurla, meaning place of the silky pear. Kalgoorlie Boulder is Australia's largest Outback City with a population of more than 30,000 people. It is the largest urban centre in the Goldfields region and the fifth largest in Western Australia.

If places could talk, Kalgoorlie would have some interesting stories to tell. Explore Australia’s largest outback town to uncover its fascinating past and present, from the region’s gold rush era to the modern-day Super Pit mine. A visit to the whimsical outdoor art gallery set against the spectacular backdrop of Lake Ballard is a hauntingly beautiful way to round out your trip.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment.
