
Beenyup Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of K-6 Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2023 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2024. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2023 school year, up to the end of Term 1, 2024.

Beenyup PS educators should pursue excellence in teaching and use high impact teaching strategies. They will use ongoing diagnostic, formative and summative assessment to provide feedback to students, monitor progress and collaboratively plan high quality differentiated plan teach assess cycles to address student needs with a focus on ensuring year on year growth. Teachers at Beenyup should be prepared to participate actively in collaborative teams to complete shared systematic planning, teaching and assessing, consistent parent communications and analyse data to inform planning and monitoring of student progress.

These include Sounds Write, Heggerty, the Science of Reading, Positive Behaviour Support, AVID instructional and high impact teaching strategies, as well as approaches that follow whole school policies, procedures and our instructional model including daily reviews. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration requirements.
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
