Endeavour Primary School (PS) shares its site with Endeavour Education Support Centre (ESC) and both schools work collaboratively under the name of Endeavour Schools. Endeavour Schools is a truly inclusive school setting where every child is special, and the primary school and education support centre work together for the benefit of all students.
Whilst the current Performing Arts program predominately focuses on the Music strand, 2023 offers an exciting opportunity for the school to further develop this to include Dance and/or Drama. A combination of the strands will also be considered.
Applicants should be able to manage and work well in a team and exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and techniques matched directly to student needs.
Endeavour PS is located in the suburb of Port Kennedy, approximately 10km south of Rockingham. Working in partnership with the Endeavour ESC, we have formed Endeavour Schools to provide a truly inclusive setting for the benefit of all students from Kindergarten through to Year 6. We take pride in our inclusive practices across all year levels and our ability to provide diverse learning opportunities for students and staff.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
