Rosalie Primary School (PS) is seeking an innovative and dynamic Music Teacher to join our welcoming team.
The successful applicant should be a highly motivated and reflective Music Teacher who seeks out new opportunities and are focused on their own professional growth. You should be highly collaborative with a focus on exploring evidence-based practices. The successful applicant will ideally possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist in working with students, parents, and colleagues.
You should work alongside your colleagues for the continuous improvement of student outcomes, developing strong positive relationships with students and their parents, while maintaining high expectations for all students.
There may be a possibility of the FTE for this position increasing in the future.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration requirements; and
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course.
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
