The Role and our Branch
Teacher Registration Board (TRB) is seeking a highly motivated Investigations Support Officer to join their team.

The successful applicant will undertake a diverse range of administrative and operations support tasks to assist the Investigations and Compliance Branch (ICB) team and management, including preparing cases requiring consideration by the Board at monthly meetings. The Investigations Support Officer undertakes project/research work to support the ICB team and management as well as collate information and maintain computer and manual files, registers and records for ICB.
The Investigations Support Officer screens sensitive and contentious incoming correspondence including emails, redirects them to other staff for action as required, ensuring attention is drawn to urgent and important items. Another important aspect of the role is to assist in the preparation and collation of ICB’s evidentiary documents for the State Solicitor's Office regarding matters referred to the State Administrative Tribunal.

- Demonstrated experience in dealing with information of a sensitive, confidential nature and the ability to provide accurate information, complete checks and confirms accuracy prior to release.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance before commencing employment
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course
- complete
- the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- training specific to this role required by Department policy; and
- the Department’s training in Accountability and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
