The Role and our Branch

The Capital Works and Maintenance Directorate is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed Project Officer.

The Capital Works and Maintenance Directorate is responsible for the compilation, management and implementation of the Department’s asset investment program, including capital works projects and maintenance at public schools across the State.

The successful Applicant will assist with developing, monitoring and managing project databases relating to capital works projects and programs and prepare high level reports and program documentation.

The successful Applicant will also assist with the planning, implementation, evaluation, reporting and review of capital works projects and capital resource sharing activities.

This role will be specifically supporting the project performance team which is responsible for the management of and reporting on projects and programs with a combined total budget in excess of $1 billion, which includes over 360 individual projects.
