Appointment Pool
Bletchley Park Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Teachers K-6 for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2023 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2024. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2023 school year, up to the end of Term 2, 2024.
We are seeking professional, enthusiastic and team orientated Teachers to work collaboratively with the leadership team and school community to add value to our contemporary and distinctive school which has a child focused identity.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a dynamic education team with a vision of creating excellence together. Knowledge of the HITS (High Impact Teaching Strategies) or Quality Teaching Strategy and iStar model will be highly regarded.
Suitable applicants will be part of a team that builds an inclusive school culture that challenges, invigorates and extends young minds. They will ideally be reflective practitioners, with strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work cooperatively with others to create and maintain a welcoming and vibrant learning environment for students and families.
Ideally, applicants will have well developed Digital Technology Skills, be familiar with Talk 4 Writing and Brightpath, and have a good understanding of English as an Additional Language/Dialect progress maps.
Highly suitable applicants should implement whole school approaches in teaching and learning, ensuring students are at the centre of everything we do, as we bring innovative, rich and diverse learning experiences to every child. Comprehensive curriculum knowledge, strong pedagogical skills in literacy and numeracy and developing the whole child are highly regarded.
Purposeful use of technology to amplify learning and a focus on early intervention and differentiated curriculum to meet each students needs is desired, including students with special needs. Ideally, we are looking for teachers who have successfully implemented evidence based Reading and Spelling programs such as Letters and Sounds, Talk for Writing, the Heggerty Phonemic Awareness program, and who are familiar with the Back to front Maths approach.
Located in a residential area in Southern River. Bletchley Park PS is a large primary school of over 800 students with a well-established team structure where teachers closely collaborate with others who teach the same or similar year levels.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.

- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration requirements; and
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course.
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
