The Leadership Institute is seeking an organised, proactive individual to manage processes and projects in the role of Project and Support Officer.

The Project and Support Officer is vital as they establish and maintain effective processes to ensure project scopes, plans and correspondence are developed, recorded and actioned and project timelines are met. They record and analyse program data to generate accurate and consistent reporting to assist in preparation of briefing notes and corporate correspondence. The Officer, along with colleagues and the administration team, coordinates and manages administrative systems and participates in function management for the delivery of high-quality and innovative professional learning programs for school leaders across the state.

1. Demonstrated proficiency in providing administrative services, including experience in technical systems and databases support, executive services and administering and reporting on financial systems and budgets.
4. Demonstrated well developed and conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to identify and clarify issues and generate strategies to address them.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance before commencing employment
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course
- complete
- the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- training specific to this role required by Department policy; and
- the Department’s training in Accountability and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
