The Role and our Branch
Staff Recruitment and Employment Services provides a human resource consultancy service to principals, line managers and staff in Western Australian public schools, central and regional offices.
This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction in the development and implementation of strategies to attract and retain Department staff - while promoting teaching as a valued and respected profession. The successful applicant will have strong change management skills and lead a dynamic team to deliver our operational objectives successfully.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance before commencing employment;
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course; and
- complete
- the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement;
- training specific to this role required by Department policy; and
- the Department’s training in Accountability and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
