Bullsbrook College is seeking an innovative and creative teacher to deliver the Science Curriculum to students from Years 7 - 12. Our College promotes high standards of professional knowledge, sharing and team work amongst staff to help create positive learning experiences and high achievement for students. To be successful in this role you will not only have a deep knowledge of the Science curriculum but also a range of instructional and engagement strategies to motivate students and ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
As the successful applicant you will ideally possess a strong understanding of collaborative pedagogical practices and will be able to apply these in the school setting. The successful applicant should effectively collaborate with others and have good interpersonal skills to rapidly integrate as part of vibrant and committed team of teachers.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration requirements; and
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course.
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
