About the role
Teachers in Hedland SHS’s English team are focused on creating outstanding outcomes for students and empowering every student who enters our classrooms. We are a collaborative team who are close knit and supportive in a way that only a high-quality regional school can be. Our practice is data driven to ensure year on year improvement for our students
In this role, the applicant demonstrates excellence and or the desire to teach English at both a high-end ATAR level, as well as quality literacy instruction to empower students from diverse and challenging backgrounds. Collaborative practice is a key asset to our team’s success, and the successful applicant would need to be willing to learn from and share their experience with other members of the team.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING

- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
