The WA College of Agriculture – Cunderdin (WACOA - Cunderdin) is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Mathematics Teacher to deliver Senior School Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and General Mathematics courses.
About the role:
Our ideal applicant will have high expectations, display a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies and have the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students in the delivery of programs.
You will be flexible and adaptive, able to apply the strategies to differentiate lessons where necessary, utilise Explicit Direct Instruction and other evidence-based instructional models to ensure students have ownership and accountability of their individual learning journey and progress. You will be able to contextualise course materials to reflect the College context and embed data from the Farm area of the College within your programs. Applicants with experience teaching ATAR Mathematics Applications, will be highly regarded.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
