The Ideal Teacher
The successful applicant will work as part of a dedicated team and have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to the school community. You will ideally be flexible, creative, and forward thinking, and exhibit your passion for the Arts. The successful applicant should be innovative, knowledgeable and possess a thorough understanding of instructional and curriculum expertise and the ability to develop innovative classroom practices to provide integrated, personalised, and authentic learning experiences for students. The ability to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Arts is desirable.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- Meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration requirements; and
- Complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course.
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
