Collie Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to appoint an energetic and motivated individual to fill the role of Teacher - Secondary Generalist - Indonesian and join their friendly team.
This role is to commence ASAP. The role is a comprise of 0.2FTE Indonesian and 0.8FTE, with the Indonesian component moving to 0.4FTE of the teaching load in 2023.

About the role
To be successful in this role you should be able to engage students in the Languages Learning Area and will have strong curriculum knowledge to ensure our students will reach their full potential. Knowledge of and experience in, Western Australian Curriculum planning, delivery and assessment are essential for this position.
The successful applicant should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be relationship focussed, able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning. You will ideally be innovative, knowledgeable and possess thorough understandings of instructional and curriculum expertise whilst keeping abreast of the latest developments within the Learning Area. You will be reflective in assessing the effectiveness of your teaching practice and able to cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- Meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
- Complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
